Everett and Snohomish County are partnering to offer free pet micro-chipping services to the first 500 Snohomish County residents between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday March 27 at the Everett Animal Shelter, 2732 36th St. Participants will receive free microchip implants identifying the pet’s owner’s name and contact information, ensuring that a lost animal gets a quick ride home instead of a trip to the animal shelter.
Please make sure cats are in a carrier and dogs are on a leash.
Location Information: To get to the Everett Animal Shelter, turn east at the Brown Bear Car Wash at 36th Street and Broadway, proceed under the freeway and the shelter will be on your right.
In addition, the Everett Animal Shelter has dozens of pets ready and waiting for adoption every day. The hours for pet adoptions are Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
The Shelter phone number is 425-257-6000.
