EVERETT – Feel like a fitness superhero this summer by taking on the 12 hills of Forest Park. Participants will discover new corners of the park during the Hill Climb 2014 challenge, a series of 30-minute timed events.
“The hill climbs are a great way to explore parts of the park that you’ve probably never seen,” said Paul Kaftanski, parks director. “Do the climb more than once and see if you can go farther and faster each time!”
Climbs are scheduled for Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings beginning May 21.
Wednesdays: May 21, June 18, July 16, Aug. 20, Sept. 17

Check in - Noon
Start - 12:15 p.m.
Saturdays: May 31, June 28, July 26, Sept. 6
Registration - 8 a.m.
Check-in - 8:15 a.m.
Start - 8:30 a.m.
Fly solo or build a team of up to three people and motivate each other. A $5 suggested registration fee per participant, per event supports outdoor programs. Registration is required.
