Happy, splashy fun just in time for the weekend
Rotary Centennial Water Playground is now open at Forest Park
EVERETT – Find your beach towels and sunscreen because the Rotary Centennial Water Playground sprays into action for the summer and is now open. Keep your little ones cool all summer long by splashing around in the heart of Forest Park.
The water playground features a giant Orca-tail sprayer and 15 interactive fountains, including a mini-splash pad for toddlers. Dry off by lounging on a blanket in the sun on the adjacent grassy knoll, or air dry as you fly back and forth on a swing at Forest park’s popular playground.
Restrooms, picnic benches and drinking fountains are available nearby, and an ice cream vendor stops by often on warm days. Rotary Centennial Water Playground operates 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, May 24-Aug. 25, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, Aug. 26-Sept. 22.
Forest Park is located at 802 E. Mukilteo Blvd., Everett. It also features walking trails, a swim center, the Animal Farm, sport courts, an outdoor stage that often hosts concerts, and event rental halls and shelters.
Overflow parking is at Compass Health guest parking lot.
